Famous designer known for her eponymous Wendi Reed label. Items in her collection were frequently exhibited at the prestigious New York Fashion Week.

She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she studied Interior Design.

She once said that, although she experienced more success in designing womenswear, menswear was always her true passion.

She grew up on Long Island, New York.

She and designer Leigh Magar both studied at FIT in New York.
