She graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in sociology and film.

She appeared in such films as Vegas Vacation and Enough Already.

She was born into a Jewish family in North Woodmere, New York.

As a child, she wrote a fan letter to Brady Bunch actor Barry Williams .
