ABOUT WES BENJAMIN

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Texas Rangers during the fifth round of the 2014 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Rangers' rookie affiliate team the AZL Rangers.

Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Kansas where he was named to the All-Big 12 Freshman Team in 2012.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Colorado Rockies on August 16, 2020.

He grew up living with his parents, Scott and Jan Benjamin, and his older sister.

He, Scott Michael Foster and Bradie Tennell were all born in Winfield, Illinois.
