ABOUT WILL HONDERMARCK

Veteran central midfielder that was first signed by the Drogheda United Football Club as teenager in the year 2018. He later joined Norwich City FC before signing deals with Barnsley FC and Northampton Town FC. He has also played for the Congolese men's national team during his professional career.

During his teenage years, he was enrolled in St. Fintan's High School by his parents. He eventually earned his first professional club contract with Drogheda United at the age of 17.

In January of 2023, Hondermarck signed for League Two club Northampton Town on a two-and-a-half year contract. While playing with Northampton Town F.C., he won the 2023 EFL League Two Championship.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Orléans, France. He is of Congolese, German, and French descent.

He played alongside Jon Guthrie as a member of Northampton Town F.C. during the 2023 club season.
