NBA wingman that was originally acquired by the Washington Wizards during a draft day swap with the Utah Jazz in 2025. Prior to being drafted, he played college basketball at the University of Illinois . Following his freshman year at Illinois, he was named the Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year.

He initially began his school basketball career in the country of Canada. He was once considered Canada's top basketball prospect.

Besides playing basketball, he also has a passion for music. During his free time, he loves to play the piano.

Growing up, he lived with his parents in Kitchener, Canada.

He was once considered the top Canadian basketball prospect in his high school class just like Andrew Wiggins .
