ABOUT WILLIAM CARLILE
British Conservative politician who served as the Member of Parliament for the Buckingham division of Buckinghamshire from 1895 until 1906.
He studied at Clare College and became a Lieutenant of the 3rd Volunteer Battalion of the Oxfordshire Light Infantry.
He was made a baronet of Gayhurst in the King's birthday honours in 1928.
He married Blanche Anne Cadogan in 1886.
Like him, Alan Duncan is a Conservative British politician.
