ABOUT WILLIAM CHOMSKY

Father of the renowned author and thinker Noam Chomsky who was also a noted expert in Hebrew.

He fled Russia to avoid serving in the army, and financed his way through Johns Hopkins University.

He studied and authored many books on the Hebrew language.

He was married to Elsie Simonofsky from 1927 to 1972.

His son Noam not only became the father of modern linguistics, but also a renowned political theorist.
