William Eklund

ABOUT WILLIAM EKLUND

Professional center that was drafted by the San Jose Sharks during the first round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He has also made appearances as a member of the Swedish national team.

He began his professional hockey career in 2018.

He made his international hockey debut playing against Danish national team on April 28, 2021.

He is a native of Haninge, Sweden. Eklund is the son of former ice hockey player Christian Eklund, who also played for Eklund's former team Djurgårdens IF. His brother, Victor, is also an ice hockey player.

He has played on the San Jose Sharks alongside Fabian Zetterlund .
