ABOUT WILLIAM HOWEY

Born five months after his parents' February, 2009 wedding, this first child of screen actors Steve Howey and Sarah Shahi entered the world through a water birth in his parents' Los Angeles home.

At the time of his birth, he was twenty-one inches long, and he weighed eight pounds and six ounces.

His mother became known for her roles in CBS's Person of Interest and in USA's Fairly Legal.

Both of his parents were born and raised in Texas, Shahi in a family of Iranian and Spanish descent, and Howey in a family of Scottish heritage.

His father, Steve Howey , starred in Showtime's Shameless and in The WB's Reba.
