ABOUT WILLIE GAY JR.
Veteran linebacker that was originally drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs as a second rounder in 2020. After three years with Kansas City, he was then signed by the New Orleans Saints in 2023. He has also played for the Miami Dolphins during his NFL career.
While in high school, he was considered a four-star recruit. Shortly after graduating, he then enrolled into Mississippi State University in 2017.
Just two years after being drafted by Kansas City, he and his teammates won Super Bowl LVII. The very next season, they won Super Bowl LVIII.
He is the son of NFL hall-of-famer William Gay . His dad played 11 years in the NFL before eventually retiring in 2018.
He was coached by Andy Reid while playing for Kansas City.
