ABOUT XAVIER LEE

Former American football quarterback and wide receiver who was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Florida State. In 2011, he played for the Kansas City Command.

He attended Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. He set Florida's all-time record for passing yards, completions, and touchdowns. He was named Florida's Mr. Football in 2002 and won state 3A Player of the Year honors as a senior.

After going undrafted in the 2008 draft, the Baltimore Ravens signed him as a tight end instead of quarterback. Coming out of high school, he was one of the most highly touted recruits in the country, especially at quarterback.

He was born in Daytona Beach, Florida. His father, Willie "Foots" Lee, so nicknamed because of his size 18 feet, played as a defensive lineman for the Kansas City Chiefs .

While quarterback at Florida State, his coach was Bobby Bowden and his offensive coordinator was Jimbo Fisher , who later became the head coach of Texas A&M.
