ABOUT YACINE DIOP

Senegalese basketball forward who played college hoops for both the University of Pittsburgh Panthers and the University of Louisville Cardinals. She took part in the 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup with the Senegal national team.

She studied rhetoric and communications at Louisville.

She was the MVP of the 2013 African Cup tournament with the Senegalese Under-18 national team.

She has three sisters and one brother.

Tacko Fall and Gorgui Dieng are two other basketball standouts who were born in Senegal.
