Reality television personality and baker who rose to fame after competing on The Great British Bake Off . She has more than 30,000 followers on her yannybakes Instagram account.

She worked as a scientist with Crick's Cell Services Researchers.

She has published five scientific papers including one in The Lancet. In July of 2021, she shared her first ever drip cake on her Instagram account.

She was born in Hong Kong.

Both she and Chetna Makan appeared on The Great British Bake Off.
