ABOUT YAW PAINTSIL

Men's left winger that signed his first professional club contract with Årvoll IL as a teenager in the year 2016. He later signed a multi-year deal with Tromsø IL in August of 2022. He has also played for Kjelsås Fotball during his professional club career.

He initially joined the Årvoll IL youth ranks in the year 2004. He was just five years old at the time.

If not for playing soccer professionally, he's commented that he'd probably be studying law. He first discovered his passion for being a lawyer while watching the drama series Suits .

Growing up, he lived with his family in Norway. He is of Ghanaian descent.

He primarily plays the position of left winger like Neymar .
