ABOUT YOLANDA DíAZ

Politician and lawyer who was elected as the Second Deputy Prime Minister in 2021. She has also served as the Minister of Labour and Social Economy of the Government of Spain.

She graduated with a licentiate degree in Law from the University of Santiago de Compostela.

She became a member of the Communist Party of Spain at an early age. In late 2021, she and a group of colleagues formed the Otras Políticas.

She was born in Spain.

She serves in Pedro Sánchez 's governmental cabinet.
