She is the older sister of K-Pop star Chanyeol of the hit boyband EXO.

She's appeared in a video teaser for Korean rapper Outsider and hip hop group Rap Star's collaboration "Nice Weather."

She and her brother were born in Seoul, Korea. They are both known performers in the entertainment industry. In October 2018, she married Mr. Hong.

Her brother is in EXO with singer Xiumin .
