ABOUT YOUSSOUF KONé

Veteran left back that signed his first professional contract with the Lille Olympique Sporting Club in 2014. Since then, he has played soccer professionally in countries such as France, Spain and Turkey. He has also played for the Malian men's national team during his professional career. In 2023, he signed with Molenbeek after spending several years on loan.

As a kid, he came up playing soccer in the Lille OSC youth academy. He was just 19 years old when he signed his first professional contract.

He made his official international team debut while playing against Team Benin on September 6, 2015. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Although he grew up in France, he was born in Bamako, Mali.

He has played the position of left back just like Jordi Alba .
