ABOUT YUMA KAGIYAMA

Japanese figure skater known for his strong performances in numerous domestic and international figure skating competitions. He made his international junior debut at the 2018 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy and went on to win gold at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics. He won silver in the men's singles event at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

He started skating at the age of five.

He was the flag-bearer for the Japanese national team at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics. His hobbies include gaming and photography.

His father, Masakazu Kagiyama, is a former figure skater and two-time Olympian.

He has said that he looks up to figure skaters Nathan Chen , Yuzuru Hanyu , Shoma Uno .
