ABOUT YVES JABOUIN
Retired Haitian-Canadian mixed martial artist, fighter, and athlete who is known for competing in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, as well as for competing for the World Extreme Cage Fighting. He stands five feet, eight inches tall.
He was inspired to take up martial arts and MMA after watching a lot of kung fu movies as a child. He made his professional debut in the year 2001 by fighting in Canada for the WEC.
His nickname in the arena was Tiger. He also practices muay Thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He grew up idolizing Chuck Norris because his father was a big fan of him. He began focusing on coaching and training other MMA fighters after retirement.
He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, but he moved with his family to Canada when he was a child. He has two siblings. He has two children.
