She began her career as a commercial model for brands like Bank of Ireland and Coca Cola.

She trains and rides horses. In 2019, a kick from one of her horses left her with severe injuries to her face. She has also made a handful of appearances in different TV series'.

She was married to Ronan Keating of Boyzone fame from 1998 to 2015. They have three children together. In 2012, she began dating cinematographer John Conroy.
