ABOUT ZAC COCKRELL

Bassist best known as a founding member of the American blues rock act Alabama Shakes . His band's sophomore LP, Sound & Color, (2015), debuted at number one on the Billboard album charts and won four Grammy Awards.

He was working at an animal clinic when he joined Alabama Shakes.

He appeared in the music documentary The American Epic Sessions (2017).

He was born in the United States.

He formed Alabama Shakes with singer and guitarist Brittany Howard .
