ABOUT ZAC TAYLOR
Former quarterback who earned his first opportunity to be a head coach after being hired by the Cincinnati Bengals for the 2019-2020 season. He was with the Bengals in 2016 as offensive coordinator & quarterbacks coach, but then assumed the positions of assistant wide receivers coach and quarterbacks coach for the Los Angeles Rams in the years to follow.
He was a quarterback for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Cornhuskers.
He was an undrafted free agent signing of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2007. He was cut in the preseason. He then played fourth-string quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL.
He has children named Brooks, Luke, Emma Claire, and Milly with wife Sarah Sherman. His father-in-law is former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman. His sister Kathryn is a Special Olympics swimmer and he has a youngest sister named Quincy as well.
His father, Sherwood, played defense under head coach Barry Switzer .
