ABOUT ZAKARIA ABOUKHLAL

Dutch soccer player of Moroccan descent who has gained fame as a forward for the Dutch football club AZ Alkmaar and the Morocco national team. In 2019, he signed a deal with AZ Alkmaar for 2 million euros. He debuted for Morocco during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification. His soccer fame has resulted in over 2.9 million followers on his Instagram page.

He spent his youth career in Willem II and PSV Eindhoven.

While a member of Jong AZ, he scored all of his team's goals for a win against Helmond Sport on December 9, 2019. He posts updates about his life as a soccer player on his ZAboukhlal Twitter account.

He was born to a Moroccan mother and a Libyan father.

He has played alongside Bruno Martins Indi as a member of AZ Alkmaar.
