Zarrukh Adashev

ABOUT ZARRUKH ADASHEV

Uzbek professional kickboxer and mixed martial arts fighter known for primarily competing in the flyweight division and participating in Bellator MMA and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

He began training in combat sports during his teenage years, where he focused on hand-to-hand combat and kickboxing. He was crowned Asian Champion in hand-to-hand combat in Qarshi in 2010. He earned a silver medal at the WKA World Championships in 2012.

He is widely known by his stage nickname as"The Lion," but has also been referred to as "The Pitbull." He is the founder of the Zarrukh Adashev Performance School. He has competed in both flyweight and bantamweight divisions.

He was born and raised in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. He eventually moved to the United States as a young adult to pursue his kickboxing and MMA career.

He and Shavkat Rahmonov are both MMA fighters from Uzbekistan.
