Songwriter and singer from Liberia. She was in the group, C+C Music Factory in the 90s. She is best known for her dance hit singles, "Things That Make You Go Hmmm..." and "Just a Touch of Love."

She was the primary vocalist for C+C Music Factory when they came out in the late 90s. The debut album she made was called "Gonna Make You Sweat."

She has won four American Music Awards, five Billboard Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, and a Grammy Award nomination with the group. The last music she put out was a single in 2015 with Dank called "1994 Rhythm Is Right." She guest-starred on the ABC sitcom "Dr. Ken" in 2017.

She is from Liberia. She had a relationship with Brandon Himmel, and has a daughter named Arica Himmel .

Her daughter played Rainbow Johnson on the TV show Mixed-ish. That character was played by Tracee Ellis Ross on the TV show, Black-ish.
