ABOUT ZOYA AKHTAR

Filmmaker and screenwriter who made a name for herself in 2009 for her first film Luck By Chance. Her film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara received several awards in 2012.

She attended St. Xavier's College and later New York University's film program.

Popular across social media her Facebook has attracted over 325,000 followers while her Instagram has drawn in 800,000 followers.

Both her parents, Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, are screenwriters. Her younger brother is actor Farhan Akhtar.

Her paternal grandfather is poet Jan Nisar Akhtar .
